Re: Vince31 first ZMR250 build
Here you can see some of the 3D Printed parts Ive made to tidy up the design, they include a 10 deg tilted camera mount, antenna holder, RX holder etc. You can also see where I've repositioned the capacitor from the ESC on to the PDB so its a cleaner arm. Re: Learning to fly FPV quad
Thanks for the helpful advice guys, just what I was looking for. I haven't put my FPV gear on an RC car yet but will certainly try that first.

Learning to fly FPV quad
So, what modes should I have enabled (in Cleanflight) for my Naze32 as a beginner learning to fly my first FPV quad (ZMR250)? I'm guessing there are two schools of thought: 1. all modes off and learn to control the quad using Rate control inputs, or, 2. start with max assistance such as Angle, Horiz...

Re: Noob question
Have you got your FPV gear set up yet, goggles or screen? I've got my FPV camera (700 TVL) set up at an angle of 10 deg. The VTX is a 32ch 200mw with just a generic stick antenna for now, better cloverleaf antennas on order. This communicates perfectly with my emachine vid screen also from Banggood...

Re: Noob question
Thanks guys for the explanation above, just what I assumed, so I'm going to stick with the 5030s I have for now then. What motors, speed controllers and battery are you using I've got EMAX 2204 2300Kv motors which came bundled with SimonK 20A opto ESCs (no BECs anyway). For now I just have a 3S 1500...

Hi from an FPV noob! (UK)
Just got into FPV Quad racing after seeing YouTube video. Used to own a Parrot AR drone but got dissolusioned with being limited to the range of the WiFi and flying it using a phone etc. Decided I could do a lot better myself and decided to build my own drone with a lot of help from Banggood, eBay, ...
