Re: ** IKON - How to Build a Blue Tooth Adaptor**
its funny I came up with this in the other rc- forum. I then got rid of these.... one year later yesterday, I found an android tablet that did bluetooth, and I am not tuning the gyros.. so thought! Oh dang I can make these bluetooth connectors ! and then I tried to remember what I did, and ended up ...

Re: Trex 700 nitro broken clutch
nothing else. just the clutch. Flew a few flights on it two weeks ago! the clutch did well.. no issues. the idle and engagement has changed but it engages nicely

Re: Soco heli tool
is the Soco tool just for doing blade pitch? My tarot digital pitch gauge has an indentation for the tail boom that you can set it on yout tail and the mainshaft is 90 to that, and blades 90 to that, so MOST helicopters that works just fine. I am not always levelling the heli completely before i do ...

Re: Badgasser bends a crank!!
Replacement? Yeah TRM Power Al , opened the engine completely and saw the havoc. and reported back. He wasnt the one who modified it to start with, it was someone offbrand. He didnt prep the cylinder walls so the high stress environment, the epoxy let go short answer.. YES! lol almost a complete re...

Re: Badgasser bends a crank!!
Ok update to this .
Metal epoxy used to shape ports came off and caused havoc inside the engine. Beatings were shot and crank was twisted . It must have locked up the motor for a split second , and the momentum pulled the motor out of it killing it while doing it

Re: Gaba's 180CFX!! Finally starting to record flights again
Nice one Gaba:) keep them coming:) I have watched a comparison video between the 130 and 180 and it said power was the main difference between the two, both were very stable:) Jay had to have been the most misguided video ever.. I used to have a 130. To fly right and make the tail hold any backward...

Yes in every class , they had the bird figured out.. Electric .. Nitro and still the lightest gasser out there . Even goblin gassers are 1-1.25lb's heavier with the same power plant. I am excited!!!

Re: Badgasser bends a crank!!
Gaba, not sure if that amount would cause any problem as the shaft is tapered? I take it is going on to a woodruff key? For me you would need to take a measurement at the largest section of shaft nearest the bearing as well to see what the deflection on the DTI guage would be over the distance of t...

Re: Badgasser bends a crank!!
It is awesome to think about .. But .. No crank upgrade. Because this engine is ported and balanced by a modifier.. Crank was modified and weighed statically and dynamically to match the exact weight needed so there is no vibration. Also the motor was stroked by 1mm to increase displacement from 26c...
