A while back I shared with you guys how someone had brought a bunch of stuff to the airfield and gave it away and I scored the SIG T-Clips.
Here is the real plane. Well it has taken all summer for me to gather all the parts and make the repairs but she is ready for the maiden!
I had to rebuild the engine mounting box and get the engine mounted the correct distance from the fire wall so that he cowling would fit properly. The cowling had a huge hole it it from the attempt to make it a gasser and I was not sure how to fix that so I tried covering it with covering film and it came out very well! I am happy with it. I had to make a floor/shelf for the battery because the original slide out tray was cut out. The ESC fits in very nice behind the fire wall. The motor I choose is from Heads-up rc and it is a 900Kv equal to a .32 two stroke fuel engine that will swing a 13x6 prop with no trouble. I got the wood prop and aluminium spinner from the stuff the guy left at the field also, It looks so cool! The rest is all basic assembly and here it is! So I just need a break in the weather and the maiden will happen!
