Quick little build, Combat plane

Sunday-Sunday-Sunday My club is having a fun fly day and there is supposed to be streamer combat! So I whipped up this little bugger in 3 evenings.
I hope it flies!
I have a HK donkey st3007 1100kv motor with a 10x6 prop, 28 inch wingspan, full house controls with flaps mixed in. I did that because part of the combat is if you make it to the time limit you have to climb vertical for 10 seconds and kill the motor and the last plane down wins, so I added flaps to the mix to keep me up longer :D
Wish me luck!

Well I was a little late getting to the field but managed to get there just in time! I signed up for the field events Taxi race, bomb drop, balloon pop. I am sooo sorry I did not have a chance to get video but I was late and and had to hustle just to participate. The first thing after sign in we were given a special gift!

So the results I owned the taxi race 45 seconds! 2nd place on the balloon pop! and the bomb was too heavy for my plane to lift off!
I was too late for the limbo contest and all the guys chickened out on streamer combat and I was read for that!
Well for all my effort I managed a second place finish! So I am cool with that, this being my first competition!

One of the clubs around here is planning to do combat planes. Not sure if it's streamer or demolition derby style. :)

Here is the start of mine.. I need to grab servos for aileron, elevator, & throttle.. No rudder for this build.. And an O.S. 25 nitro motor.. Also, I have to figure out a paint scheme &/or design.. I was thinking something from the Macross saga. Any of u familiar with Macross or Robotech? That's my idea anyhow.. One day I'll get off helis long enough to do it. Lol.. The guys use streamers here.. No need to cost yourself or others $ lol.

Nice builds going there!
No worries on thread jack, I just like to see other designs and work.
I don't get thread jacking anyway? if ya post a related subject it's not a jack in my book!
