RC-Hangout

I built this airframe 4 or 5 years ago. One of the guys that I am subscribed to designed this plane and he was kind enough to share some build specs for me. He called it the "FB Drone" because it's made from foamboard and it's got a "military drone" look to it. Yes, the digital camo Duck Tape does add a significant amount of weight to the plane, so we just need to run a 3536 1000kv motor with a 13" prop....and lets face it, this isn't going to be a stunt plane, so we just need to get it off the ground and fly it around. I have a 70amp esc on board (overkill lol) and either a 3S 5000mah pack or two 3S 3000mah packs. 60" wingspan (to be shown later). Tricycle landing gear.

This would be a great candidate for an FPV platform and we might venture down that road at a later date.

Here is a pic of the plane with the wings and twin booms on. The plane is nearly done. All control surfaces are working properly. I just need to add some supports to the vertical stabs, design a nose piece, attach my camera, and locate cog.
