Im looking for plans for a flying wing to run on a 3s power system, ive got all the electronics ready to go i just need to find suitable plans.

The electronics are the ones i used for my failed attempts at the RC-Help edge 540, Well it wasnt really failed i learnt a lot about CG and foamboard build techniques. at the moment ive got 1 sheet of foamboard sat around waiting to be turned into a thing that flys 8-)

I can't help you Dan, but I know Derek gets loads of ideas from a guy on YouTube, search for experimentalairlines. All one word, maybe that might help, I've seen a few of his builds, awesome stuff

I've just watched a 20 min video of a guy making an awesome looking wing out of one sheet FB got to the end of the video and there no bloody plans to download.

I have a suggestion for you, Dan! Check out the Experimental Airlines Fast Delta Wing here:

Here is a "details" video on this wing:

Here is one of my flight videos with this plane:

It's just an awesome little wing. Costs very little to make. I have a 1500kv motor with an 8x6 prop, 40amp esc (it might be 30amp), and I can fly this little wing for nearly 15 minutes with a 3S 2200mah 35C pack. It flies very well at full throttle and it will also fly VERY slow really well. The glide slope is very nice. It's just a fun little wing!!!

It's very easy to make! From "start to finish", I can make the airframe in about 30 minutes. Add on another 30-45 minutes, roughly, to add on electronics and balance the cg. This little wing is one of my favorites that I have. The yellow and red wing, in the video, was crashed last year....100% pilot error, lol. I built a new one that is purple and orange. I have 127 flights on it right now. The motor and esc never get warm.

Lee suggested the FT Versa Wing. I don't own one but I have flown one and they fly very well. Awesome wing!

I have been slowly building a largish wing out of what we call coreflute, coroplast I think is another name for it.
No plans, no designs, I just building the biggest thing I can out of the sheets that I have.
I intend to make it a pusher with electronics I have lying around.
My motor is a left over quad one, 330w 1100kv with a 30 amp ESC.
I have several props to try but I will probably start with a 9x4.7 just because that's what I have lying around.
I also have some 8, 10 and 11 inch props if I need them.
This will have to fly on my 1800 3s quad batteries as once again that's what I have.
I guess I should get to finishing this thing and post some pics and a maiden.
Maybe even hang the Mobius on it for the maiden. :)
My eyesight is not good enough to fly LOS at any great distance so once I know if it works (or not) I will hang my FPV gear on it.
Hmmm, starting to feel some motivation again now, time to build a motor mount. :)

I would love to see some pictures of that.

the motor ive got is 1180kv about 400w i think and a 40 amp esc ive got a 10x5 prop for that set up and 2200 3s.

i dont really want ot buy any parts just make it out of the parts bin.

Hey Dan! Based on what I see in the above picture, you pretty much have the same, or very similar, setup as to what I have on my Delta Wing. My wing is a puller but I imagine your same electronics will be well suitable for the FT Versa Wing, as well. I have that same rx on my Delta Wing, the AR6115e. I think it says "Microlite Park Flyer" but I have flown my wing so far vertical that I've lost visual sight of it many many times and it still comes down with a solid orange light.

I was going to recommend the versa. I built it but never got everything to fly it. Its a simple build that requires 3 or four sheets of foam board.
