Thanks Graham. Well I had my first problem with the Gasser...all my fault. Since it will fly for 30 minutes on 2/3 of a tank, I managed to out-fly my receiver pack and have my gyro quit responding. Luckily I was hovering a few feet off of the ground when it happened. It hit the ground and tipped over...had to pin it down with my chair and pinch off the exhaust deflector to kill it. Surprisingly all it needs is a boom, elevator linkage and tail blades. They arrived in the mail today, so she should be back in shape this evening.

The opti-power ultra guards are pretty sweet. I like them better than the scorpion units since they charge up and maintain their own battery off the main packs whereas the scorpion one you have to keep charged and conditioned separately.

Did not know about this Paul looks a better option:) I got may backupguard second hand for £20 from ebay:)

Price is hard to beat. The optipower units are more expensive but seems like a better unit overall. May spring for one to try on the gob 570

Well after falling out of the sky twice for no reason, I decided to give the Brain/Ikon a shot. I've been running rich to break in a new ring/cylinder liner, and with the GPro it has had a pretty good head wobble. After hovering for about 4 minutes it seems like the GPro resets the cyclic to 0 pitch and all I can do is watch it fall. It's a shame because the GPro has been great up until this. After installing the Brain, there is virtually no wobble, even running as rich as it is.

Nice, shame there's no vid of you wrestling the heli with a chair lol. Glad it didn't suffer too much damage in the crash.
Clean looking heli, gassers are becoming more and more interesting. Ill need to read through your build thread.

I finally have the 2nd engine broken in, just need to split my rpm sensor cable between the Brain and TM1000 so that I can get the governor set up. Here's a shaky video!
