Yeah a popular choice but not easy to tune by all accounts, but best of luck Stambo

Well I got to do a bit of work on the gimbal, while I'm still waiting for my controller

I got to redo the frame, so I would like it, I did not like the camera mount screw I got, it was to big and heavy, so I decided to make a plate that would support the full Mobius holder,

Then I remade the side arm as I wanted to give myself some adjustability to balance,

And here is where I got to in the end, pretty well balanced all be it a little nose heavy on the camera, will final balance it when I final assemble it

It's getting there folkes, starting to look like I want it,

Well hit my first snag, tried to connect to the GUI and all I got was firmware mis match, DOH

a good bit of looking and found that I needed to flash the firmware, which some say cant be done as they are locked but tried anyway, and success.

Board now connects to the GUI suite,

tonight I will try and get the gimbal set up on a Jig so I can see how it works, :D

Well not a great start to my gimbal path, well it moves in the right directions but I have a very annoying high pitch noise, tried a few settings but to no prevail, many have said set to high PWM rate but it does nothing for me,

I got mine yesterday and had a play with it.
I had the issue with firmware mismatch but I went the other way and found the GUI to suit the firmware I had.
I read somewhere that upgrading the firmware could brick the board as it was a copy not genuine.
I also had the high pitch sound and cured that by setting high PWM rate.
Mine is really smooth, can't wait to get it on a quad.
I don't know whether to put it on my alien or build a larger wooden one.
