Gonna pic up this motor on my way home from work.. Buddy of mine has it.. Tell u what I am missing.. A KDE boom support for a 450... If anyone knows who has a set in stock please let me know! Lee.. Think u could spy on some of ur shops/sights that r on ur side of the pond?

Nope, KDE boom supports... Kinda partial to them... Matter of OCD preference.. Not absolute necessity. But thanks for the look out!

I find that the KDE are thicker and a bit more robust.. And yeah.. I suppose bling too. Lol.. Seriously tho, I have them on every bird I own.. And now the Chase too! Thanks again!

Ok, got the soldering complete on the ESC.. Had to solder new bullets on the motor as well.. Had what I think were EC3 bullets on it.. I had already put 4mm Castle bullets on the ESC.. So I had to match the motor... Motor is mounted & the top 2 belts adjusted. Starting to figure out how to run my wires... With the small size of the heli plus all these belts.. & a battery inside the frame.. Gonna be tight.. Probably gonna have a lot of wire on the outside of the frame.

Thanks bruh! Got the ESC braided & hard mounted.. Binded the DSMX sat, updated & calibrated the ESC soft & firmware as well as the VBar. I'll post up pics when I get off work.

Now I have the VBar & DSMX sat mounted.. Wires from the sat & ESC taken care of as well. Next, some quality time getting to know VBar's VStabi 5.3... Hoping the learning curve for this FBL unit isn't a PITA. Shouldn't be.. Here are some pics of her current progress in this build. Was kinda thing with the Scorpion yellow/gold and the colors in the canopy that id deck her out in yellow.. A color scheme I don't have.. But.. With the stock red aluminum & the fact that I now have a KDE on it... Red is what I went with... Actually I'm dig'n it!

Debating on re-routing that long ESC lead on the inside of the frame..not sure yet.

Damn, it's 3AM! VStabi is a little different from iKon.. No too much tho.. Servos centered.. Swash level.. Everything is moving in the right direction.. To be continued.. Going to bed!

Ok guys.. Need some help with an issue. Brown outs on the bench. Now I have heard the mini VBar has had an issue with this in high voltage setups.. Someone here had made mention of it before as well(don't recall who).. But this is a 6V set up. Same as I have on my Align 450... The only difference in the setup is the Castle Edge on this one is the Lite version... And a AR7200BX instead of the Mini VBar. Looking for a little help.. With throttle hold on.. If I move the cyclic around quickly.. I get a brown out... During which the motor even tries to start! Crazy! So any "known solutions" are very much appreciated. Here is my set up with a video link to show the problem.
KDE 1750kv 8p, CC Edge Lite 50(BEC 6V), MKS 92A+, MKS 95i, DSMX sat, Mini VBar 5.3, Pulse 1250 45C 6S. Thanks in advance!

It was I that said it . You need to run a sep. power bus to run the servos . the bus in the mini V bar is weak and can not handle the load

Just got done read'n up.. A f'n 3.3 power bus.. How is VBar so damn popular? Lol.. Gonna have to run a full RX.. Dump the sat. Thanks Jesse... Didn't fully pick up what u were put'n down! Lol

Ya the full size V bar dose not have this problem thats were it gets its rep from
you can still just run the sat but you have to run a a strait power bus from the esc to power the servos

You Just have to pull the power and ground wires from the servo leads leave the signal wires were they are at then jumper those to the Esc power or BEC before the V bar .
They make power bus blocks to plug in to Or just make a Y type harness for the power and ground

This why I got out from the Mini Vbars (Kbars) Its just a big pain in the but and will not fly any better than your Ikons
Or If you want to go Vbar then go to the new one they dont have this bus problem
