I put a GPro on the 700E with no issues, it flies pretty good and is easy to set up. I was thinking of getting one for the nitro.

For what I seen gpro go for I would just go with a V bar

I ordered some Lynx frame screws and added a little "bling" to the frame...just need to order another set to finish out the frame.

Awesome! Well my muffler is in the states...crank bearings ordered from Boca last Thursday, but no email confirmation or shipping info yet...DSMX Satellites and GPro ordered...receiver pack & tail brace ordered. Now to wait until they start showing up... :evil: lol

Just read through this thread:) awesome build of a big bird:) I am the same not a massive Aline fan, even though most of my main helis are Align. I wish they would change the tail front gear holder to metal:)

Cant wait to see the maiden:)

Is Tri-Flow penetrating oil a good assembly lube for the engine? I figure that it will be rinsed and burned out when it fires up.

You can use DW40 to assemble. It. Or get some after run lube

Thanks Graham! I think that I saw a metal boom mount that someone had machined...looked pretty sweet! I have one on my Tarot 450 Pro.

I baked the block and the old bearings fell right out. After washing it with diluted Simple Green, I baked it again to install the New Boca Bearings. My wife thought that I was crazy... :twisted:

After reassembling the engine, it's time to pull the skids and bottom frame plate to install it. after the engine was in the frame, the bottom plate hits on the cylinder head. Turns out that the newer style head is round and clears the frame just fine. Nothing that a little Dremel work caan't fix!

She's starting to look complete! Just need to get my GPro and lipo so that I can get the swash leveled and blade pitch set. The mailman should be delivering them Friday (crossing fingers AND toes) :D
