Don't trash that other board yet Kev, it's problem, is what is commonly refered to as "Operator error".KevG wrote:Well after using a second hand board that I had of my mate when I bought all his quad stuff, I found I had a little drift that would change if I had trimmed it and then changed battery, so I got a new board,
soldered it up on the weekend with the bare minimum of pins, and put a 3rd pin in for the sat connector on to 3.3v and also soldered in a set of leads for a buzzer, I missed not having them there and not having an arming tone,
Levelled it out of the quad on my table, so I know its perfect as table set up with SOKO tool,
Used a backup of my setting for ease of setting up the new board, and away to go,
Zero drift and one happy fella now,![]()

Never trim from the TX, when the Naze32 initializes it uses what it sees from the TX as center so it will be fine until you change battery.
Then when you hook up the new battery the Naze32 will see the trimmed position as center.
Center all trims on the TX and trim the board with the sticks as follows
Disarm
Throttle full
Right stick in the direction of required correction.
Ie if you have a left drift and have to correct right, then put your stick to the right several times.
You will see an led flash on the board or hear your beeper if you hold it there.
Each flash or beep is a click of trim.
This will not really be an issue once you are flying Acro as the trim is only used for auto level.
