Well.. Having an issue with the CF servo arms... The screws heads that mount the CF arm to the Futaba servo wheel touch the top of the servo case... Had to place an order for a fix to this problem.. So I'm on hold again... Damnit!

Hobby a town had my fix.. So I can move on now even tho I have placed an order.. Just means I'll have spare parts... So I moved on, almost done getting wire lengths correct, routing & looming. I'll be on to servo & iKon set up soon... I think. Lol.

Updating the new iKon... Gotta pull the tail servo, center it then mount it with the horn on... Can't be done while its in there... Get'n close! I like the new aluminum case.. Matches my servos!

Finally finished up the wiring... Seems like I'm taking forever on this build... Anyhow... Wiring complete & tested.. Including the Bluetooth module, sats, & Castle Quick Connect. All frame hardware thread locked. This morning I will finish soldering the stick packs & mounting them to the trays.. Put the tail on & begin programming.

Prelinary setup done! I did the same setup as all my big birds... 13.5 collective & 10 cyclic. HS will be 1400, 1900, & 2150. Low HS of 1400 is just for shits & giggles.. We'll see how it works. The high HS of 2150 is 104% on the Castle.. I may end up going with a 13T pinion instead of the stock 12T. I'll play with it & see how I like it. I hear mixed reviews between the 2 pinions so I'll test the 12T out first. PIDs & rates will be tuned tomorrow I hope.. I leave it stock on 3D to start.. Except the tail rotational rate.. I bump it to 475 to start.. It's always too slow stock rate. I'll post up pics tomorrow as well... Time to eat!

Maiden successful! Forgot the Bluetooth antenna to the laptop so I wasn't able to tweek iKon... Dummy! But the initial set up was pretty tight... Tail tuning of course.. Cyclic gain maybe.. I like the 696 blades so I'll save the 716s for later. But I got 6 flights on it. SCORE! LOVE 12S! LOVE 700 CLASS! LOVE SYNERGY!

Here are a few more.. I didn't like the pics of the stock canopy... Plus I wanted pink.. So I commissioned 2 canopys from Fusuno.. One I just photoshop'd the stock canopy's hue scale to the colors I wanted.. Then came up with another design I saw elsewhere.. So I've got the stock canopy(not pictured), the one with green for daily use, and the full pink for special occasions.

Well.... Either I botched the solder job, or .... I don't know.. This is a first for me... But I had a wire come out of the connector bullet. I was about 45 degrees inverted while doin tictocs about 7-8ft off the ground she shut down.. I rolled & auto'd her to safety.. Thankfully... But this is what I found. Gonna Check the esc log when I get home.. Maybe it'll shed some light on why.

Cold joint.. Log showed good #s... Amps topped out at 143, temp didn't break 156... Conclusion has to be a cold solder joint. She's all better now tho!
