Walking and flying

Hey all. I had some time to use up while I was charging batteries for my X3. I decided to take a walk in the woods while flying my heli. It wasn't easy trying to avoid root, branches and keeping my fingers steady on the rudder so the heli wouldn't wiggle every time I took a step. I got it done and NO animals were hurt during filming.

That's really good, buddy! Nice flying! "walking while flying" is not something I can do. Well, I can walk and fly my planes just fine but I find it very difficult to walk while I have a helicopter in the air, lol. Anyway...Nice job on the outing!

Dont want to put a negative spin on it:) but that is quite dangerous. If you tripped on the groung the heli can go anywhere:(

LOL yes i agree but controlled situations can go horribly wrong:) We all walk and move when flying, i am as guilty as the next man:) but it is always at the back of my mind that i could stumble:) especially with my crap skills:)

No negative spin Grahm Lawrie. I agree It wasn't the safe thing to do. I'm not planning to do it again
The only thing that help me maneuver around with out a OPPS! is that I've been walking this trial twice a day, everyday with my dog for over a year. No excuse, accident do happens and I did increase my chances for disaster by doing that. It wont happen again. It could of been very expensive lesson to learn in many ways.
