My new frame arrived yesterday from Germany.
This will not be a full build thread as I'm going to recycle a lot of the parts that are on the temp zmr frame and save the new parts for my little secret. So here are a few shots of the frame.

This was just a dry fit to see how the frame, it's a bit fidley to assemble but is rock solid when screwed together

I can't belive how little space there is for the electronics. This is going to be a challenging build I think I may have to desolder the headers off my re and hard wire it all.

Made a start on the build last night.

Headers desoldered, wires and jumpers hard wired to the receiver

Looking good Dan:) space does look tight:) Hard wired seems to be the way builds are going to cut down on weight :)

I did run into a snag with the build, the regulators on the pdb are rubbish. Every time the motors started to spin the regulators went off and back on causing the naze32 and esc's to reboot. So i bypassed the regulators and added a trusty old hobbywing bec, wire that to the naze and fpv cam and wired the vtx directly to the battery input.

Jobs a good un....

Thought I had better weigh it for you guys. This is with a 4s 1300mah pack ready for take off (if the wind ever drops)

Maiden is going to be flown with 20 degrees on the fpv cam to start with to see how the hd footage turns out as the yi camera has 45 degrees on it, so I may need to run 30 degrees on the ccd, which should make for some really fast flights.

This thing scares the crap out of me
