That's better, now that looks like a heli. So in your search for a cheap high kit what did you find out about this kit? What are expected crash costs for the basics? If this kit is that cist effective I wounder if it will draw people from the HK brand.

Well It has a solid 6mm main shaft and a solid 4mm tail shaft Those will be hard to bend
It dose not run a oneway bearing on the main shaft it is in the pinion gear so less load on the main shaft
It has super fine adj. servo arms with the JR servos Were you may could set it up to slip in a crash so dose not hurt the servo gears
It can be a 3s or 6s and use the same esc
Belt drive tail so not much gear stripping
The only part that cost a lot is the freakin canopy 53.00 for a stock one and not many aftermarket ones out there
So very basic crash would say Blades boom main gear maybe , servo gears if you tighten the arms down to not give
So in the 45.to 50 bucks if you dont trash the canopy

That's not to bad then. If you do crash then make sure the canopy is off.

After market canopies won't be any cheaper. Fusuno canopies are about the same price for my X3. My Protos canopy was about the same price also. I guess this could be a great learner kit.

Judging by the pinion this is gear on gear mesh? Be even better if it were belt driven. I like the belt driven setup better.

Yes its gear to gear . belt drive is cool but I think they were going for it to be Light
Thanks Derek
Its all done But not happy the COG is way off it is way nose heavy . And I went under the specs for the battery

Do you know if this is a problem with the kit or just the setup?

His much weight might be needed to balance?

I had to add 47grams to the tail to get it to balance
The only thing I see in the set up is the ESC and how big it is . May have a look at swapping it out for a smaller seeing how im only going to run 3 s
Form what I have read the GOV. function is not that great on this esc anyway
