Is this like a super combo kit? You should be having some fun soon.

Yes it's frame, esc's, motors, props and control board,
At a quick glance looks nice, carbon is well cut, and looks good as well, arms are pretty stiff as well

Nice one Kev.
Tony's motors and ESCs turned up today, after sitting in Spanish customs for nearly 2 weeks.
So I'll be building tomorrow.

Don't for get to show us your progress. Glad you were able to find an almost complete kit. It takes out a lot of the guess work. You can upgrade later, like with the KDE ESCs and motors for quads. Very nice setup if you can afford it.

Well here it goes,
What's in the box,

The frame set, have to be honest it looks wicked, cut very well, clean and it all lines up perfectly,

The motors, these fell silky smooth and well built, comes with bare wires which was a little disappointing as does the esc's but not to bad I suppose,

And the build, first I put the rubber bungs and anti vibe mount, then all the stand offs on to the base plate, including the cc3d stand offs,

Next came the motor mounting,

And next I fitted the arms to the frame, this is made easy as the lower frame spacers are fully threaded, so the arms can be tightened down before the placing of the bottom frame,

Can't do much with the esc's as not got my PDB or motor wire connectors yet, so went on to cc3d mounting and looking at how the wires are going to travel, placed the rx, now the decision do I need a satalite on this,

More to follow........

You are opting to have bullets between the motors and ESCs?

Yes mate, purely from a break away point of view, going for 2mm if it's enough for my 250 Heli it will be good enough on the quad

Well I done a fair bit of soldering yesterday in our model club, put all the motor to esc bullets on,
Done the esc to PDB connections, and the battery lead, no pics as of yet as its a trial run, needs tidying up and shortening of wires, but I wanted to get it tried first,
Well got home tonight and finished the initial build, removed the pos leads from 3 esc's and tied the excess cable down again waiting for cable management to be done,
Then soldered my deans on to my new batteries,
After a short break to help my daughter with one of her projects I got the lappy out for the dreaded config, but I have to say it was a piece of cake, got it all set up and working
A quick hover in the living room, and I mean quick as it was very agile and responsive, so shut it down and dialled in a bit of expo on the software, which helped so I dialled a little more in, up to 40% on pitch and roll, but still feels a little squirrelly at the moment, still it was nice to get it in the air, even if it was less than a minute, it sounds really good, and that's a first spool up with 5030 diatone props that I had off my mate,
So guys if you have any taming advice I would appreciate it,
So I have wire management to do, shorten the battery lead a bit, and install my led's......
It's getting close now.....

Do you have self level configured and enabled?
Makes things much easier for learner quad pilot.
