Got a ways to go yet... Didn't figure the build would take so long.. And I've run outta solder.... Trip to HobbyTown in the morning to continue... Hey.. I'm gonna run a sat instead of a full reciever on this one... Never done that before... Will I be able to bind it once installed or do I do that prior? How do I do it stand alone or do I use a reciever with it pluged in?

RCX 250... Same as most of the guys here I think... Seems a solid kit.. Doin a few mods I think.. Add'n a little Clay Funk to it.. Lee was right about the screws.. Too short.. Got some 3x10mm to substitute the stock 3x6mm.... Not too pleased with the quality of the distribution board... But I'm using it... Everything seems real tight.. The first time I have to work on this I'm gonna scream & curse. It's definitely the most solder work iv had to do at any one time.. Kinda wish I had ordered a bunch of 2.5mm bullets and made leads instead of direct connect soldering.. If I build another that's what I'll do. But.. So far so good.. Gotta solder the 3 leads to each motor and I'm done with the build end and can get to the programing.

Hey guys... Help me out here.. I'm trying to figure out battery placement.. I'm using 3s 1800mah packs..I've got the ESCs mounted on the bottom of the frame.. Out in the open... I can put a pack on its side inbetween the fame (sticks out the back a bit) or on the top plate of the frame. Now I know that CG will be off a little until I get a mobius or go pro to counter the weight... But I also see it gonna be hard to place fpv stuff on it if.... I don't know.. Can u guys post up some close up shots of ur rigs (loaded w all its gear) so I can have some food for thought? Thanks

I have tred it on the bottom, and the more common, top position.
I prefer slung underneath.
More room on top then for fpv gear.
If you want to use just the sat for the cc3d, you need the open pilot sat adaptor.

I think someone did some cleaning prior to photo shoot or someone is a neat freak during build, lol.

Talk'n bout my work space? Lol.. Usually is neat & tidy! But during a build... The more the build progress.. The messyer it gets... And the more nuts I get! On a scale of 1-10 of organized chaos.. I'm a 12 right about now!
