Well you have been waiting and here it starts,
Basically this is a tbs clone, g10 pieces and copy dji arms which seem pretty well formed and rigid, costs a mighty £11 or $16 ish
The box contents are 4 arms and upper and lower decks and an anti vibe mount as well as screws and 4 bobbins and 4 standoffs

First was to mount the motors and esc's

Then I attached the arms to the lower plate, and temp added the top plate for strength while I take it home.

I have one of these that was meant to be my aerial video platform.
It is temporarily grounded as I stole the Naze32 off it for my woody.
Motor and prop balance has to be perfect as those arms seem to amplify any vibrations.
That is why Timecop (the maker of naze32) does not like them.
I have yet to get jello free video from mine, even with Sunnysky motors and well balanced CF props. (obviously not well balanced enough)
I have given up for now, my mini gives better video.

Big does not mean slow Tony, I have had mine up to 82 kmh (not intentionally) recorded with OSD and GPS while flying FPV as a beginner.
It was under propped at 9" so with the 10" it has now, it should do a bit more.
Scared the stuffin out of me but what a rush.

well i was thinking an aerial video vehicle more than a racer or high speed quad with it being that size.... get it built then mate... OSD and GPS eh.... sounds like its going to be a mint project.... keep the pics coming, this is going to be worth watching the progress of...i wanted OSD and GPS on this quad but its too small. ive got the OSD board here all programmed ready to fit.

To much hassle to osd the cc3d and very limited screen info, so don't think I will try to get it flying on the cc3d
Will be ordering the Naza lite for this after the weekend, but yes I want a slower speed cruiser out of it, then might get the iosd dji unit,
It's a 500 machine I believe,

You don't need to hook anything to the FC, just between the camera and VTX.
I have this
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... odule.html, really basic but gives speed, altitude, batt pack voltage, return home indicator etc.

Looks like a pretty cool little item, Stambo! On a mini, speed, altitude, voltage, and home indicator could be pretty handy!

On a mini Derek I feel they would be too much of a distraction.
Not to mention the extra wiring and weight.
I am happy with just having the pack voltage sent back to the Taranis and spoken to me every so often.
Although it may be tempting to fit it to the woody just to see how fast it can go.

Nice info Stambo, thanks mate
Just ordered the Naza fc as I want a very easy stable ship I can flick a switch and have a breather with,
Done a bot more of the build last night but hit a snag with the frame spacers, one had no threads in one end,
Ordered a set of tbs spacers with the Naza unit and had a refund of 50% on the frame kit which I'm reasonably happy about, as the tbs posts give me extra strengthening for the main frame area as well.
My wire should turn up today for my power harness,

Yes it's progressing pretty well, some minor Chinese snags but hey ho.
It's only to get me into the big platforms then her indoors won't see the swaps and changes, lol
