Before next Spring, I will have a better method of charging. Currently, I have the Thunder Power TP610c AC/DC charger. I've been using it for over two years and it works very very well....when charging 1 battery at a time and at a max of 4amps. Although did does take a long time to charge a bunch of batteries, it has served me well.
So...I've been eyeballing the iCharger 4010 Duo 2000W 40A 10S Dual Port Charger. I'm thinking that this would be a charger than I could do some serious charging with and I wouldn't outgrow it for a long time. If I remember right, Lee has one of these.
I noticed in the specs, it says "Input voltage range: 9-50V DC." So, am I understanding this right when Im thinking that this will NOT plug into the wall and it will need a seperate power supply? Then the power supply plugs into the wall. Right? So, on top of the $350 for the charger, I'd need to spend some "green" on a power supply. Am I correct?

That correct.
Only the very small chargers are AC. All others need a PSU.

ok....well, I think when I get my tax return next February, Derek's is going to get this charger.
I've not had a need to search for a power supply before. How will I know, or what do I need to look for in a power supply, so that I get a power supply that is suitable for this charger?

Well when you get ready for the PSU let me know we can build you one a lot cheaper than buying a High dollar inverter

The hardest part is floating the one board
If you get the psu's like i have you just solder on a resister and what you want to use for the leads
My 2 psu's put out 24v 1800w and 150 amps with them tied together
Now just one will do 12v 900w and 75 amps
With my PL6 it will charge my 2 big 5100 6s packs together in 30 minuets dose not even faze the Psu

One of them was way over when I floated it it started putting out 24.v on its own ya im not going to use that one
So I do have one that is already done and I will sell It if you want it

Is there anyone on this forum that can show me how to wire up the PSU's? I'm just not sure that I'm confident enough in myself to wire up the PSU's. I'd be terrified that I'd screw something up and something bad would happen. These PSU's are not to be disrespected.

Thanks for that, Jesse! I may very well just do that...send the PSU's to you. I have such a high respect for electricity, it's almost a "fear", lol. I am 90% certain that I will be ordering the iCharger 4010 charger when I get my tax return so I'll see about getting a few dollars together to order some PSU's shortly after the New Year.
Can you show me some pics or video of your PSU setup?

Thanks Graham! I just get nervous when it comes to stuff like this. I think I'd almost rather hover my 600 inverted over my own head versus try to build this unit myself, lol.

It's not hard at all on the 600 pb units but the 1200 pba are a bit more tricky, personally that's why I only run 1, and for the 4010 duo you will need the two to get the potential out of the charger
