Finally! I no longer need to beg for the use of someone else's power or if alone, fly my few packs and call it a day... I can live at field now!

You just need a tent now Clay and you can live there....
seems a bit extreme to me, I use my car to charge batteries up, when I was at tarifa in camper I just used a PSU for laptop and plugged that into my lipo charger...

High amp 6S charges will kill ur car battery.

true enough Clay, i used the leisure battery on the camper which has a much better charge/discharge cycle rate, also i have 2 x 150 watt solar panels on the roof of camper, these can push out up to 24Volt at 14 - 16 amps... PLUS i only have 3S lipos...

Solar.. That would be NICE! I've been parallel charging since I built my power supply from instructions & videos back on RCH... So I 2C charge unless at home prior to going to the field.. So I charge 3 5000mah packs at once via 30amps... This thing does fantastic!

That sounds awesome Clay, a leisure battery and a couple of solar panels would handle 30 amp no probs. just totally impracticable to carry those around..... Unless you have a camper...

Nice Clay.
I would like a deep cycle battery to take to my field, so I don't have to keep going back to the house every 3 flights.

That's what we have in camper Lee, it's 110Ah... Too big to carry around though, maybe keep in boot

This geni is about 65lbs.. Not as lite as the Honda, but half the price and actually a little stronger per specs.. That's what I was doin Lee.. Fly what I had in the packs and was done.
