Gimbal for helmet mount

Guys I want a gimbal for a helmet mount, can they be made from scratch. Need to stop camera shake!!

I reckon if you can setup a gyro and a servo or two then you can do it. Not sure how though.

Well I've got a spare zyx gyro and a few servos, so I might have a play around
