Power supply filter

Well guys I wanted to run the vtx straight off the power distribution board, but was worried about the possibility of interference so I was pointed in this direction, you can buy these for about £10 or $16 ish but I made mine for about £2,

Just needs the plugs fitting and I am going to put a switch in as well to be able to isolate the video system when I am not flying FPV.

What components you got on there Kev? That large capacitor won't filter high frequency noise, you need a much smaller value, like 100nF. On there also... I also notice the cap is 16volt, I presume your not using it on anything above 3S...

Yeah Tony its a ferrite ring 1/2 inch
470uf 16v cap
24swg silicon wire

The cap is what is recommended, anything under 100uf
