Now that's something I hadn't really considered before. There are going to be a slew of people who get into quads and FPV without ever having experienced helis in any way.
They'd probably be just as bored watching them as we are watching their quads hover and zip around.

You be surprised at how many really good pilots i have met, who have never seen one and when they see 3D in reall life are blown away:)
