The title says it all!!
I was watching a DJI Phantom on Ebay and it was £300 cheaper than it should be, yup i am sorry to say i never got a Goblin, but am now the owner of a DJI Phantom 3:(
All credibility as a pilot now gone out the window:(
The reason i bought it was :
1. Recent loss of my Camera and Nighthawk 250
2. It was cheaper than normal.
3. Work are going to give me £200 / survey

Well...for $300 cheaper...I sure hope it's all complete and functional. I hope you don't get that dreaded "fly away". Best of luck buddy!!!

All I can say is RTFM!!
And once you understand how it works, RTFM again.

A lot of the flyaways tend to be operator error.
Not letting the GPS initialize or calibrating the compass before flying.
It tries to fly home to the last place the GPS was initialized which just happens to be somewhere in China.
I have to admit in the right hands they can do some pretty awesome video, but they also seem to be the goto quad for all the idiots out there.

They are great machines.
There rep has just been tarnished by those few idiots out there, giving us all a bad name.
Enjoy it Graham. I should have one in my hands next month.

Its not mine. Its for the owner of the boat we are building.
He wants me to buy it for him and teach him how to fly it.

Just looked at that link Graham.
Why would someone take a photo of a white quad on a white background?
