I thought this tool would be helpful, to me it was. I have a level platform that i use. When it comes to setting up, My AR7200BX when you get to section "J", you must get 6 degrees "Digital gauge" & Blue light on the AR. Well i notice that lately i was having a hard time getting both to work at the same time. I found out that even though the heli is on a level stand/platform, the heli wasn't really level? She lean to one side enough to screw with the digital gauge. So i put a Line Level on the heli frame it self and sure enough, it was off just enough. So i shim the skid up on the low side til the line level was reading right. Now i have no problem matching 6 degrees and blue light. I just thought i should share this. Even if your stand or platform is level doesn't mean the heli is. The line level was a cheap and helpful tool. Happy Memorial Day!

Always zero a digital gauge to the heli. Usually on the motor or a square/level part of the frame. You do the ail setting with the blade straight out from the nose. Line level is a cool add, but not generally necessary unless you dont' have a good place on the heli to zero the gauge on.

Definitly level the frame.... I usually have to use paper, magazines, whatever to shine up to level the frame.. Then I work the head.. I really want a small bubble level... One I could use to level the swash with without having to remove the head would be awesome...

Hey cml001, that's what i use is a small bubble/line level that you can get at your local HW store. I never have to take the head off. Like Paul said, it's a cool add and it works for me.

As long as you calibrate the dig. pitch gauge on the frame you should be good.
