That's a cool mod, just would not use it, as I top mine up each time I upload off it,
Minor league Aviator, against gravity which normally wins!

Why not get the little mobius charge lead that plugs in to the USB port, hook the other end to a 5v supply on your quad and you don't have to worry about it.
Has the bonus of being able to set the mobius to auto record.
It starts recording when you hook up your flight battery and stops and saves when you disconnect.
No more lost vids due to flat battery or forgetting to push record.
You need a big enough mem card though, I run a 64Gb one so I never have an issue.
I run about 1Gb per flight so I can easily run several days of flying without having to empty it.

That's a good idea Stambo, you can pick up the 5v off your FC, or get a regulator from the lipo.. Easy.

Exactly what I did.
I have linear BECs on my ESCs all plugged in to the Naze32 so I figured there would be plenty of reserve power.
Now every flight, no matter how boring gets automatically recorded.
I don't bother posting them unless I do something a bit more exciting or fly at a new site.
