Possible heli swap

I'm looking for advice. What do you guys think?
I wanted to get rid of my 570 Goblin. Although I love it, its too big to carry on my back riding my motorbike, and at the moment, I can't justify the cost of repairing it, if i crash it.
Plus i only have two sets of 12S packs to fly it. Again cost of packs is a bit much for the moment.
I spoke to Dave at Area51 RC here in Spain, about either selling it, or doing some sort of deal on another heli.
He has offered me a RTF Goblin 420 with one battery. Not sure on the spec yet, but i would assume as he owns the shop, he'll have the Kontronik version, with Pyro motor and ESC.
Also he will sell my Warp 360, and give me 100% of the proceeds, instead of taking his 20% commission.
I would give him the 570, but he said I can take off the Ikon and keep that, as he doesn't need it.
So Goblin 570, minus Ikon FBL, for RTF Goblin 420 (only had 5 flights for magazine pics) Plus a battery.
Or he'll sell the goblin for me at 20% commission, then I can buy what i want.
What do you guys think.

Commission and save and get what you want. Then you are not corralled into getting something you dont necessarily want?

The thing is. I actually want a Goblin 420

Just trying to decide if the deal is good enough for a straight swap.
My 570 all up when new was 1500 euros.
The 420 with Kontronik motor/esc and BK servos new is 999 euros.
Just waiting to see what else it comes with, before I decide.

Well, you're keeping the batteries and ikon.
The 420 is new or used? Does it come with fbl? Stock blades (which ones, if not)? Do you have the kontronic programmer if you want to make adjustments?

Ok so now I know what it has.
Kontronik piro 380/09 motor
Hobbywing 100a esc
Servos were alzrc DS45MG,
but he is going to swap those out for a new set of BK servos.
Fbl will be the ikon from my 570.
Batteries are gens ace.
SAB travel bag.
And a discount on all future purchases from the shop.
All this for my 570 minus ikon, spek sats and backup guard. With four 6S 3300mah packs.
What do you think? Good deal or not?

Ok 570 is all packed up, and ready for the courier to pick up on Monday

Excited to get the 420, but sad to let the 570 go.

Nice score Lee. You'll be happy with the 420 especially when you can take it where ever you want, on your bike

They say out with the old and in with the new. Good luck and enjoy Lee!

Just spoke with Dave at Area51RC.
He has offered me a set of MKS DS93HVs and a HV9780 for the tail, instead of the BK 3001s, at no extra cost.
They are more expensive servos. He had a set ready to go in the shop, instead of waiting for the BKs.
What do you guys think?

Whats your reasoning Graham?
MKS renowned quality.
BK good too, but said to be rebranded Servo Kings

Couple downsides to the DS93. First, they're not HV servos, so 6V max (they may unofficially take more, but I would not pump 2S into them). Their 6V speed spec is significantly faster than the BK3001s at 6V, but their torque at that voltage is significantly less. Some people like twitch reaction more than torque. I tend toward higher torque for cyclic servos, though. I don't fly good enough to notice speed differences (differences within reason, of course), but torque I can tell. IMO more torque is better than speed when it comes to cyclic servos. Tail servos are another matter.
I haven't looked at the specs on the HV9780 vs a BK equivalent. I leave that to you, Lee. Personally, based on the cyclic specs, I'd wait for the BKs. MKS makes great servos, don't get me wrong. I might well take the MKS tail over the BK tail, but the 3001 cyclics are a better deal, IMO.

They are not the DS93s Paul. They are the HV93s.

Too late now anyway, its on its way with the MKS

I'm sure i won't notice any difference. But for resale, could give me back more money with the more expensive servos in it.

I have read about twitching issues with MKS.
Also saw Camerons BK,s taking a hammering with crashes etc and they were still good:)

I was happy with the BKs on my 570.
But when he called me and put me on the spot about the MKS servos, I decided to give them a try.
It was posted this morning, so might have it by friday

I'm sure if I was ever to have an issue with them, Dave would sort me out.
