I was just browsing the "Helicopter Upgrades" on the HK website, as I often do. I just found this carbon fiber part and it has grabbed my attention and curiosity. Check this out...

Why would you want to add all that extra weight to a 450 2motors + 2 esc
why not just go 6s

in the reviews for this piece, there are a lot of other people that ask "why add the extra weight?" True enough...it would be extra weight. It was just an interesting piece.

2nd thing would be finding 2 motors and escs that run exactly the same all the time

A mini Velos
The problem will be, theres no oneway bearing in the pinions, so the motors will be fighting unless they are perfectly matched in every way.
Would be interesting though.

Exactly....a mini Velos. And, you are exactly right...the motors would have to be "perfect"...which means that I won't be going anywhere with this part. I just thought it was an interesting piece. I'd never seen it before and it simply had my interest.

Told ya Derek... Haha, could it be used on a plane that has props on each wing with the motors on that mount and belts to the props...

I suppose you could do that....it would just be more practical to just use two motors and two props, on their own.

Ch46? Maybe? It would have based closely on the msh Protos mini. One way bearings are in the pinion and it would be a belt driven drive to both main gears.
