BEat me too it, Kev! :)

I'm actually surprised they're doing this. I figured after they axed the whole pro series that they were giving up on serious helis and that the 300CFX would be the end of the line for this kind of heli for them. Not to mention they've been talking about a CFX upgrade to the 450 for a while now with nothing to show for it.

And I'm amazed they didn't call it a 450CFX. They've actually adopted the truer number scheme of the Warp/Goblin/etc. side of the industry.

$499USD Is a greta price considering kit plus blades and motor for a Warp are $399ish and Goblin kits and blades only are $395ish. That $499USD is all up bind-n-fly price. 6S to boot.

My first thought was "No way in hell would I buy a Blade helicopter" After working on Dustin's 450 3D and my flying buddy's 450x, no way would I buy one. All the plastic bits and all the Philips head screws. NO!

Then I got looking at the link, above, that Paul provided and I saw some of the pictures. Carbon fiber frame. Allen head screws. Very nice! I think that's a much needed improvement. Even the canopy colors look sharp!!!

Their pro series line and the CFX models are pretty good. The older "3D" models were more plastic and headaches.

But the tail is still plastic and they are in the realm of competing with the 450L which is all ally, and with the gpro which is supposed to be basically a vbar, I don't think there is competition

I don't see this competing with the likes of the warp, chase or G380 they are just a step up again

It looks way to fragile for my liking. One dirt nap and its gonna be a yard sale all over your lawn. :D
