Jamie Roberson's 2015 IRCHA One flight

This was a pretty incredible flight.

It didn't have the "showmanship" aspect that Kyle Stacy's did, but I've gotta say this was a great show. Hugely technical flying throughout especially at the beginning and end. I loved the more fluid section when he switched to the second heli. The landing was pretty nuts with a perfectly timed piro stop at touch down. The one handed flying section was a amazing. I gotta say, if it weren't for the catapult "gimmick" type stuff Kyle Stacy pulled off, Jamie might well have been the winner. I know Kyle Dahl was the declared winner for a short period, but this flight was pretty damn strong.
Nick Maxwell's entry was kind of a mess. His set manuever was kind of botched, amazingly, and he suffered a couple of hiccups during the freestyle part. But he did have an incredible blade stop. Check out 4:30 in this vid:

Also had some great fluid ground work and the section after the blade stop started to come together for him, but a near miss with the ground around 6:21 and a botched autorotation landing on an elevated platform did him in. Still one of my favorite pilots. He's got amazing collective and rudder control. Some of the tightest stationary rolls/flips and piro-flips in the biz on the display. The fluid ground work at a couple spots in this flight was beautiful. Just didn't coalesce into a great flight.
