Actually, I've had this new quad for about a week now but I've had some troubles getting to the forum on my new laptop. Obviously that problem has been resolved (Thanks Paul!)
There are so many cool looking quads to choose from, these days, and it was a real difficult choice on which one to get. I really wanted a Fossils quad but, for the price, I opted for the Shuriken 180. My buddy, Mike, has one and I've seen him rip up the skies with his and I decided that I had to have one. It was $174 with free shipping. Comes complete with everything as a Frysky and DSMX BNF. Just bind it, set up Cleanflight, and go fly. I'm impressed with how light it is. My ZMR250, without battery, weighs over 500 grams. This Shuriken 180, without battery, weighs 310 grams. Amazing! The, included, protective carry case is pretty cool, too.

I've also got some new 3S and 4S 1300mah 45c Glacier packs.

Now, I just need a day off that isn't raining, lol

Dude, that quad looks awesome! I've been checking out some videos and Mr Derek, I just placed my order

. You have 3 cell and 4 cell batteries, how come if you don't mind me asking. The c rating on your new batteries are 45c. I have 3 cell 30c for my 450. I should just get new one for the quad, huh

I'll check out buddies.

What capacity are your smallest 3S packs?

My capacity is 30c but thei battery Is a long battery. They recommend the short style battery vs long style one. Which is OK to have the long battery for the 450. I'll get batteries like yours for the quad.

Hey there. I just got an email that the quad is shipped out already

Let see how long it will take. Last time I ordered it took 20 Days to arrive. Maybe I'll get it for before Easter so I can chase the Easter bunny around the yard

I'm sorry about misunderstanding you Derek

My 3 cell batteries are 2200mah/30c

No worries dude! However, the 2200mah packs are going to be very heavy on the Shuriken. So, like you said above, get some packs like what i got. Even if you got 30C packs, youll be fine but if you can get the 45C packs, those Glaciers will last you a long time.

Thanks Derek. I'm going to order the same batteries that you got. I'll keep the other ones for my 450 plus I have to change out connectors on the 2200mah and I really didn't want to do that.
