Maintence on my quad

Hello all. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend :) I have a 180 Pro quad and I was wondering if the motors after so many flights should be oiled or just left alone? I do use my compressor to blow out the debris out of the quad when she needs it. I happen to fly through the woods and she does collect some hitch hikers on her way around the course  If oiled, what kind?

These motors are very similar to our helicopter and plane motors. They should be oiled from time to time. Oiling the bearings will keep them lubricated and rolling smoothly. Last year, while I was at my local hobby shop, I picked up a small container of light hobby oil from the Train Department. I use that to oil bearings in the motors of my quads, planes, and helicopters, as well as the bearings in the tail of my helicopters. Is there a regular schedule that I follow? No. I just drop a bit of oil in the bearings from time to time. It just gives me that "warm and fuzzy" feeling inside.

Depends on the viscosity:) big word for a Sunday morning:)

The fluids abitliy to flow:) You dont want the oil to thick or it will get sticky and your hitch hickers wont get off. A nice thin oil does the trick ever time:)
