LED Light Strips Installation

I've never gotten these lights before. How do these wire up?

Each LED is wired to the next. There are "cut points" on the strips. That's about all I know.

Is it simply a matter of soldering a bit of black and red wire to the strips and then, maybe soldering the other ends of the two wires to the wire lead that would connect to the battery?

That's cool! Thanks Kev! I though there was some kind of other special electrical item needed. Perhaps that item would be if you wanted the lights to change or something. But....if they really are that easy to install, I'm gonna get some LED's for my little flying wing, as well as my new lil quad.

The LEDs that change colour are RGB LEDs. They do need a special box to change them.
The ones most of us are using, are single colours.
They just need soldering together as you want them and one end to your power point.

The strips I have on my quad now are just 12 volt ones and work well, just positive and negative... The ones I had on the blades of my 450 were neo strips, which do require a microprocessor to get them to work as Lee says.. Simple to do if you can write code... Or buy the control box...
