I just watched the live stream show from yesterday. The guys from Mythbusters were talking about them.
Lucky buggers, at the end of the conference were given one each

This thing is beautiful from concept to final product. This will really change how we FPV and with that price tag I see a lot of movie folks jumping on it quickly.

It's probably only the movie folk who will ever be able to afford one URI... Lol, I think if your not going to use it as a professional movie maker then the price for us is unjustifiably expensive. Beautiful machine though

I think for what it does, the price isn't bad.
I mean the top gopro camera is $500 just for a camera.
This has a tonne of innovations on it.
If i had the cash, i wouldn't hesitate to get one.

It looks pretty sweet alright, but the still resolution doesn't sound very impressive at 12 mp. But, I have underestimated cameras before, and a 12 mp cam can pack a punch as well. Hope someone is posting stills soon

The 12mp may not be raw capability. They may have digital image stabilization in it, which will chew up some MP. And 12MP is pretty good for prints and whatnot. Only time that would fail you is if you were were wanting/needing to crop down the image singificantly yet still retain resolution for a good sized print.

I believe I heard it mentioned, that the cam boasts raw-format recording of stills. .dng I believe it was.
