I believe it was Clay that was talking about wiring up LED's and I've had a few other people on Youtube ask me, too. So...here is a bit of video that shows what I used and how I did mine.

That's cool buddy! I'm glad I could help! I honestly thought there would be more to it to getting LED's wired up. I've been wanting to put LED's on a plane for some night flying but I always thought there would be some kind of special LED controller or something that would be needed. Not at all...just need the LED's and some wire. These little LED's pull such little power, I've been told that 26 and 28 gauge wire would be just fine to use. I have a bunch of 20, 22, and 24 gauge wire so I opted to use the 22.
So....to my Hangout family...be sure to watch for my night flying plane videos this year, too. Awesome!!!!

Nice one D. You only need a controller box if they are coloured leds, like the rgb ones I had on my heli, You can buy them quite cheap but I design my own...
