FIXED: Quick Reply resets topic subscription state

This bug has been fixed and a patch applied to the forum. If you encounter this problem or something else please let us know.
If you had disabled quick reply for your account, you should turn it back on now. Subscription state is retained upon submitting a quick reply to a thread now.

A bug has been discovered with the quick reply feature where your subscription state for the topic is reset to unsubscribed. This is being looked into, but in the meantime there is a work around: Disable quick reply in your user settings.
How to do it:
1) Go to user settings->board preferences->edit display options, this link should take you there.
2) Click on the "no" option for "Display quick reply":
3) Click the submit button:
When you use full reply editor the subscription state for the thread will be maintained, indicated by a checked or unchecked box as shown here (note you can subscribe or unsubscribe by checking/unchecking the box):
Lastly, if you chose to use this workaround, remember that your replies on topics will now be using the full editor which means that pressing the "Back" button on your browser will bring you to the editor prior to having submitted the reply. And pressing Back again will bring you to a cached version of the topic/thread from before your reply. We are working to fix this bug and have the in-page quick reply working again soon.
