Ya kno, I really haven't had a negative experience with FBL unit mounting... AR7200BX I used what came with it.. Did fine. That's on the 450... All other birds have iKon.. It comes with 2 squares of the 3M gel tape.. I've always stacked both pieces to make one thicker piece.. Even found an entire roll of the stuff at work & have used it for several other items mounted to the frame. I do strap the units still, not from having needed to.. But in my mind made sense in case of a crash.. I just run a narrow hook'n'loop strip around the unit to the mount. Is that what they call the Milton Mod? Heard of it after I was doing it my way.. Which was the same way.. Can't say I've ever had a vibration issue using the stuff.. It's got my vote for sure!
