I have been posting updates over at RCH. Know a bunch of you dont go there so here is the skinny on whats up.
First:
I ordered a new new rc looger pitch gauge, this time I got the whole set. In the set I have tools for setting the tail blade pitch, swash leveler and a plum rod. So now I have 2 rc logger 2's one Lite and one full set. It came in and now I have to work on the set up and over view video of it.
Second:
I ordered a full set of BK Servos. I got 3 of the 3001HVs and 1 5005HV tail servo. This set was discounted due to it being a set. I saved about $30 over full retail. I also ordered with them is another set of Zeal 360mm blades and a set of zeal tail blades.
What I have to order soon is skids, batteries, and more bits and bobs like dampers, gears and shafts. I also want to look at after market bearings for this guy. I am also going to look into the parts list and see what else I may think I may need. Like lower frame plates, they strip out on crashes. Its a sacrificial part to save the skids.
At this point I have the VBar Neo reset, servos 90ed with horns installed. At this point I want to video the rest so to capture the use of the Vcontrol.
I am so excited about these new servos. I just cant wait to see what 8v looks like in the air. The tail servo can handle 8.4v but the cyclics can handle only 8v. The specs on these things are just crazy.
