Well after ordering a canopy from CustomHeliCanopies.com for my 500 on 3/8/16 my package arrived today.

I'm very pleased with their work. This is what the canopy looks like out of the box

and this is what the 500 looks like with it on

Seems quite at home with those flamingos.
