RC-Hangout

Been off work on holiday fpor a week of glorious weather and been doing chores around the house and garden for the Mrs. Been a bit windy for flying but managed a couple of flights in between.

I started on my 450, ready to test, everything seems ok.

When i go to spin up it spins 360 CCW all the time. I checked servo, correction direction etc and all is good.I have even tried reversing settings when i know they are wrong but still get the same result , at lift off tail wants to spin CCW??

I am stumped!! I even watched Lee,s tail video again, which i know off by heart , just in case i was missing something??

Very confused?? starting to think the AR7200BX is faulty??

Any suggestions?? much appreciated:)

Have you tried going through the whole AR set up or even try Unplugging the tail servo when the heli is done initializing then plug it back in? The AR in my 450 is about 5yrs old and still works fine. Hopefully it isn't that.

Thanks DOG:) Yes, tried all that. I have years under my belt with the 450, thats why i am puzzled? \my next step is to do a factory reset and start again, not sure when i will get the time to do that:( This is very frustrating its like having the 3GX back on it:)

sounds like your Gyro is reversed.
I am sure you have checked this ... but that is what is sounds like to me. What Gyro is it?

from back of tail looking down on the blades... (Tail rotor at 12 oclock) fold top blade forward and then push the tail to the right .... tail blade folded forward should fan our to the rght also to counter the direction it it moving.

Yes its doing that Westy thanks. Everything looks fine , until i spool up and then it just spins as if it is reversed??

I go back to work tomorrow(away from home) so i will take it with me and do a factory reset:)

Sounds strange. You don't have the tail belt twisted the wrong way, or something silly like that.

Its shaft driven Lee:) very puzzling?? I think it might be the AR7200BX faulty on the signal side to the tail. But on the ground it does what it said on the tin. Everything as is in your video also, but spool up and it spins like a top CCW??

what you discribed happen to me, i have the ar7300bx, its either the gyro on the beastx or the gyro on your radio, try both of them one at a time!

Check the servo & horn... centering right? Horn striped? strange...
