after the death of my thug 280 ive not been able to make a decision about a new airframe, until last night. ive ordered the 200mm version

Like the look of that Dan but i dont need another:) Like the design, but this is one for a good pilot like you:) I would crash and cause a lot of damage to my gear. I wonder if it really crashes well? The antena looks quite out in the open. Video,s of it in action look awesome:)

I hope it crashes better than the thug. But i do have a plan for parts, a friend of mine has just got a cnc mill and has offered to make me some upgrade parts if needed. We are going to scan the frame parts when it arrives and make my own set of cad files.

We are also working on something of out own but thats top secret at the moment.

Arms look thick as hell. Should hold up well. Don't know about the overall look. But I guess they don't make these things to look good. More of a go fast, go now, let me see where I'm going kind of thing.

Dude that's going to be insane, those motors and that setup your gonna be looking at a thrust to weight of about 5:1 on 3s and 9:1 ish on 4s.

Got the cobras coming today or tomorrow myself for a future project,

Im hoping it holds up better than the thug, you cant see it when your FPVing paul and i dont really care what it looks like as long as it goes like Funk.

no problem Derek ill shoot some video of my initial LOS tuning flights. I normally do 2, one for pitch and one for roll then its fpv time and in flight tuning.

this is going to be a very minimal build if its not needed then its not going on. the plan is to hard wire the electronics, no pin headers on the FC, wires soldered directly to the board

The Cobra 2204/28's just turned up in the post and they look sweet, compact and light as well.

i Love them Kev, slightly less flight time but more cobra powaah....... you should take a look at the little bee's 20a speedies mate far more responsive than atmel speedies.

Got some 0915 batch Sn20a cheap, brand new in packets, 4 @ £7 ea delivered could not pass them up.

It looks weird, but from a design standpoint it make sense, the bulk of its mass on the CG and a perfectly symmetrical frame.
I've had a conformation email today informing me of dispatch and the tracking number, so it should be here in a few days.

I'll definitely be doing a build thread for this one, as it's not the usual mini quad build. I need to order a few more bits for the build (receiver and esc's). I may just steal them off the zmr from for now
