To be honest with you, Lee....I'm not even sure how to update Chrome. I tried to do it earlier and ended up downloading a bunch of crap that I've never use. So, I uninstalled that crap and just stepped away from the laptop. Can you get me a link that would show me how to update Chrome?

I was just reading the instructions for these Velotech esc's. It says that these are linear esc's and will not interfere with other bec's. Therefore multiple Velotech esc's with built-in bec's can be used together on a single multirotor without any modification.

What type of esc are you guys using when you are disabling 3 of the 4 esc's?

Ok....I was finally able to update Chrome from version 35 to 41. Cool! I even got the Cleanflight added to my App Launcher.

Following along with "Painless360" video on Youtube, I plug my Naze32 into my laptop simply to be sure that it's a "working" board. I'm assuming that it is working (maybe) because the blue led comes on and the green led blinks...but, it doesn't seem to get assigned a Comm Channel and nothing else seems to happen. Any suggestions on what I should do from here?

On the cleanflight first screen in the app there's a link to the usb driver you need

I think so. I found a page with instructions for everything that needed downloaded and installed. Pretty sure that I got them all. I'll give it another go later on.

those are pretty good videos lee i actually have the naze32 fc he is using in the videos the afroflight well that is the one i am waiting on from hobbykings international warehouse

If you zoom in on dereks pic it has afro flight in printed at the top left.

Poor Kyle ordered his board from HK about two weeks ago and he still doesn't have it. I ordered my board from http://www.multirotorsuperstore last Wednesday and I had it last Saturday.

As for my Naze32....i'm rather stuck right now. I haven't found out how to get the CP210x Drivers to download and install.

I "think" i have the firmware source code and the newest binary downloaded an installed but the CP210x Drivers seem to be giving me grief. However, I can't be certain of any of this. I'm just not a computer guy, lol. As you can see, from the cropped screen shot, it still shows "No Ports". I am absolutely stuck.

I can be sure that I did get my Google Chrome updated from version 35 to version 41.

I really can't believe how difficult this is for me. I've been trying to get the drivers to work on my laptop and PC.....no success. I can open the Cleanflight but it show's "No Ports".

Ok...a bit of good news. I got everything installed, restarted my laptop, and now the board is on Port 5. Fantastic!!! I was even able to calibrate the accelerometer. And now the bad news, lol. I can't seem to calibrate the magnetometer.

Usually, when you put your cursor over a selectable option, the pointer arrow turns into a pointer finger. Well, when I put the cursor over "Calibrate Magnetometer", the pointer arrow stays a pointer arrow and I cannot calibrate the magnetometer. Bummer!

I have no idea what to do now.

Ok...just an update.

I've gotten messages from two of my Facebook friends. Both have quads with the Acro Naze32. Both said that the Acro does NOT have a magnetometer. That would surely explain why I couldn't get it to work, lol. I was thinking that something was wrong. I have to say....if the Acro version does not have a magnetometer, that option shouldn't even be listed, lol. Geez.....so much grief for a noob, lol.

So...let's move on!

Oh my...another question....when I look at the quad on the Cleanflight GUI, with the Naze32 flat and stationary on my table, I see the quad on the GUI rotating counter clockwise. Is this something that can be fixed in the settings?

That's quite normal Derek, does not seem to have any effect on flight.
I assume this is with the board NOT powered up?
