Hello all. I just got my TBS Xracer in today
My problem is that I never used Belaflight before and I'm doing something wrong
I think I have everything set up right but my motors aren't spinning
. Can someone please help me out or point me in the right direction
I would gladly appreciated

Did you arm it with the sticks? down and right on the left stick?
Did you setup a switch/channel to do the arming?

Hey Paul. I'm having problems arming and the receiver part of the programming. One time I did have the receiver and arming working right. I don't know what I did for it not to work.

Can you spin the motors from the motors tab in Betaflight?
What TX, is it set to use the right rx and communication in the config tab.
Did you save when it was working?
I did that early days with cleanflight, I had everything working and forgot to save.
Spent hours figuring out what I had done wrong.
You have to save in every tab if you change something.

Hey there Stambo, good question
did I save everything
I probably not
This is all new to me
I'm going to take a break, play my X-box "Madden 16", then come back and start over again
. At least I have the QX 90c to fart around with til I get this Xracer going. I keep fly my helis to keep my sanity while learning something new.
Flying Helis is still #1 and FPV quad close second in my book
Hmmmm, Sounds familiar Clay
OR did you change your mind

I'm not sure but I think I got a bad receiver in this tbs xracer
I've tried everything and the manual is pretty much Idiot proof and I'm hoping it's the receiver vs me being an idiot
I've email Heli-nation where I got the quad from and explain my situation I was having. I'm waiting on a response from them Probably not til tomorrow. Being a first time customer
I hope they can make things right. Til then my QX90c is doing just fine til I get this tbs situation resolve. Thanks for everyone help. I will keep you posted on the out come.

Thank you Graham Lawrie for passing on that information
Seems like I'm not the only one having this problems with HeliNation and TBS Xracer
It's looking like $149.00 mistake
Will see what PayPal can do for me. Til then I'll keep flying my QX90c. Maybe after this problem is resolve, I'll get a different quad that will work

Dont think youi have made a mistake. I think it will be a small oversight on setup.
I have the DX7 GEN2 and have had loads of issues at binding with several helis.
Can you spool up the motors in the motor section of Betaflight?

Yes I can power the motor by Betaflight. I'm not sure if this can help but do you Skype? I think from your end that your unable to see my settings if I show you through my XBOX1 connect. As soon the wife, kids "Dog,birds and the ferret, gets up
I'll get a video clip of my settings.

If the motors spin up in the GUI then it is definitely a TX setting fault:)

Skype should not be a problem, however watching Rugby(Scotland v Ireland), then i will be cooking dinner for family:) I will be checking in from time to time so video or pictures of each screen would do:)
Next question:)
On the Receiver screen, is the channel mapping correct, all stick movements, roll pitch etc correct and are they set to maximum and minimum end points a per manual?
On Configuration screen Spektrum 2048 should be the selection:)

Radio channel setup
On the radio, especially on the DX6/DX7/DX8/DX9 models, you need to reverse 2 channels and extend the
end-points 125% in both directions for all 4 main channels. In BetaFlight, the end-points should be in the
1050-1950 range.
Channel Direction End-point
Throttle Normal 125% / 125%
Aileron Reversed 125% / 125%
Elevator Normal 125% / 125%
Rudder/yaw Reversed 125% / 125%

Hey there Graham Lawrie. I like to start of by saying thank you very much for helpping me out
. With all the plugging in and out I have done, one of the white motor wires came apart
. With me never soldered a micro fpv quad before
, I basically just screwed my self out of $149.99
. I can't even get money back or exchange
I need to take some time and figure out what's next
Should I try fixing the quad my self or just get another one which I really can't afford it now
Eitherway thanks again for your and everyone's help
.

A local hobby shop of flying club may solder it for you:) Its not hard to do but it depends on your skill level:)
