I was thinking about getting a bigger FPV quad but how can I tell If it's 2,3, 4... ect cell that the quad needs? Exsample, I'm interested in something this size http://www.hobbywow.com/en-emax-nightha ... 243594.htm I just don't know what battery this quad uses :?. What do you guys recommend for a descent FPV quad? Not to big,not to small but just right

Look up the motors: http://www.banggood.com/Emax-RS2205-230 ... 28793.html Down at the bottom is a rating chart.

Will work on 3S and 4S. Can also assume anything that's a serious racing quad in this size class is going to be 4S capable. However, you may want to get some 5040 or 5045 props for it if you plan to run 4S. 5050 seem a bit aggressive to me and may really stress the current rating of things. Especially if they're 3 blade props. 2 blade props at 5050 might be okay.

I thank you sir! :) I didn't know you can tell cell count by looking up the motor 8-) . So 3 cell should be fine for me then. Me, as a serious racer  I'm just looking around for the time being. Honestly, the TBX that I'm using, is a blast, So a 200 might be much. Now I know what to look for. Eitherway, Thanks again Paul for your help.

I was going to e-mail you next Derek for your opinion :o . Thanks Derek, I've notice you were in the market for a new quad and you really like the one you just purchases :) You never steered me wrong in the past :D So I will diffidently check it out. 3 cell would be nice since I have plenty of those batteries "8" :o

I have no opinion on the quad itself. Not my area of interest. Other far better able to comment on its quality, potential, or lack there of.

Thanks Paul for stating that it's not your area of interest. It does show 6 left :D I'm going to order one those FPV quads. It might be to much for what flying I do but I like to get one just to have.

DOG....I will talk to my buddy, Mike. He has the Shuriken 180, too. I've seen him fly his around my flying field and I can promise you this....that Shuriken 180 is a ripping lil quad. I was so impressed with it, I bought one for myself. I've only been able to do a few test hovers with it but, even on stock PID's, it flies great. It also comes with a real nice protective case and spare props. The props are a bit flimsy but they are great for just playing around. I did buy some stronger DAL 4040 props and I expect the quad will be real solid with the DAL props.

Anyway...like I said, I'll see if I can find my friends flight videos. Something you might consider is just checking YouTube for the Shuriken 180 flight videos. There are some real amazing fpv flight videos.
