Hey there. HELP!!!! anyone. Ever since i got this 180 this cursed quad been giving me a hard time. I just received a new Omnibus F4V2 FC. I have no problems installing the latest firmware. I have no problems setting up the Tabs on betaflight accept for the receiver tab. I have the Spektrum DX6 gen 2. I tried everything to get the TX to work on the receiver tab in betaflight but nothing. As I'm sitting here trying to see what I'm doing wrong, I notice another problem. When I tilt the quad forward the screen shows the quad, tilts left. Tilt backwards, the quad tilts right. Tilt the quad right, quad tilts forward. Tilt the quad left, quad tilts back
The arrow on the FC is facing forward. I did calibrate accelerometer and still the same. I never had this problem before with the quad tilting the wrong way. It's telling me that this FC is wacked. Can anyone tell me why the FC tilts the wrong way and why do I have problems with the TX not working with the receiver tab in betaflight. Derek had this quad a few times and had it up and running a few times but when I get it back the quad won't work for me at all
He said the quad is cursed. I think I need to contact a priest and perform a cleansing

LOL:) Not familiar with the Omnibus board, however, check the board orientation in Betaflight :
Navigate to the Configuration tab
Depending on which way the board was misaligned, offset the angle under "Board and Sensor Alignment"
Normally this means, "Yaw Degrees" gets set to "-90" or "90", or whatever angle your board is offset by
Save and reboot, verify direction in Setup and repeat as needed.

The new DX7 Gen 2 gave me issues when connecting also. Make sure your firmware is ok on your DX6

Thanks Graham. Derek has been a great in helping me out with the omnibus FC because he has those FC and he's a wiz with them. I was hoping to get my new FC in before his vacation was up so we can meet up on Skype so he can walk me through the process before his vacation was done. The FC didn't come in til yesterday and today was his last day and I wanted him to enjoy his last day of vacation. I haven't had the chance to try your suggestion out yet. Good thing I bought 2 of those FC because it's always nice to have back up anyway. Before I seen your message i decided to try the other FC out. Check this out. I plugged in the other new FC and checked out the tilt on betaflight. It worked out just fine. Left went left and right went right and so on. Then went into flash firmware with the latest firmware and all went well. When I went into set up part of betaflight, sure enough the tilt was all wack out again just like the other one
What the hell. I have the same FC on my Fossil 210 and that quad works marvelous to this day. Never had a problem with that set up. I guess welcome to the wonderful world of electronics huh
This evening when I have a chance I will give your advice a try. I thank you for your reply and I will keep you posted on what happens. Hopefully it's something dumb and I can fix it.

Question here. I think I found a easy fix but not sure if it's OK. The arrow on the FC should face forward but if i mount the FC with the arrow facing backward this will resolve my problems. Everything will tilt the proper way. Is there anything wrong by do this?

Ok first I like to say thank you Graham for that link. Second another shout out to Derek. I wasn't doing it the right way but with Derek explaining it to me so I can understand, he got the FC going the right way

Hey Graham! Yeah, he just needed to adjust the yaw alignment. Most of these fc's that I've gotten are oriented properly when I get them. There are the few that you have to set the Yaw Alignment to 90 or 270 degrees, while having the arrow facing toward the front of the quad.
DOG....as for the Receiver Tab isssue.
1. In the Ports Tab, make sure that you have the proper UART selected for SerialRX. Using a Spektrum satellite, I believe it's UART3.
2. In the Configuration Tab, in the Receiver area, select Serial-based receiver (SPEKSAT, SBUS, SUMD), then on the next line down, select 2048
3. In the Receiver Tab, look to the right side for Channel Mapping and set that for TAER1234
Also, be sure that your receiver is bound to your DX6 and that you are on the proper model.
Do all this stuff and let me know what happens. I will be working this week til Thursday so, if you are still having troubles, let me know. We'll meet up and hash it out.
