I bought this frame a few months ago. Its been just sitting on the wall. I decided to strip the electronics off my Sinister 770 and install them on the Hildebeast 570. The install went flawlessly and ive checked and double checked everything. This this is ready to swing some 14" CF props for the maiden. Hopefully its dry tomorrow!

That thing looks absolutely scary, I would make sure everyone is well away when you put it in the air.
I have been watching some of that X class racing, terrifying and exciting all in one.
Make sure that video has sound, I really want to hear it as well. :D

Yeah, I'm pretty excited to get this quad in the air.

As for the safety concerns....no doubt! I always fly well away from people

I've made some changes. I've removed the 40amp Little Bee esc's and put them on a different project. I've order some Beerotor 80amp 8S esc's. I've also removed the Lumenier Plus 6S PDB and ordered a Matek 12S PDB. I've had some 3D printed motor guards and camera mount made up. I'm gonna order some APC 14x8.5 two blade props and some MAS 13x12x3 props to be used on 8S. I still have my 15" props that I can fly on 6S. I'll post some more details and pics when the new parts arrive.

Thanks Graham! I'm stoked to see it fly, too. With 12mm arms, the Hildabeast is quite an impressive frame. I have tracking numbers for all the parts that I ordered. Now, just waiting on the postal service.

My new Matek FCHUB-12S PDB, CL Racing F7 flight controller, and Bee Rotor 80amp 8S esc's have all arrived. The PDB came with it's own capacitor and each esc came with their own capacitor. Awesome!

I have some 10 gauge wire coming into the PDB for the battery leads and then some 12 gauge wire going from the PDB to each esc. All 4 esc's are soldered up and looking real good. Now to work on installing the CL Racing F7 fc.

Thanks guys! The CL Racing F7 fc has an 8 wire harness. I'll be using all but one of those wires (esc telemetry). I'll be using the wires for Motors 1-4, Battery +, Battery -, and Current. The Current wire is for the current sensor. I did manage to get those 7 wires tucked under the fc and soldered to the Matek PDB.

I still need to solder on the GPS , the TBS Micro v2 rx, fpv cam, vtx, and buzzer. I'm gonna add some LED's too. I'm off this weekend, so I should have some time to finish up the build.

That would be just too cool. Hopefully the weather is fine enough for a test flight. Maybe a short video of the test, hint...hint...hint :)
