Crowd sourcing is risky stuff. Though I'm kind of surprised that they burned through as much cash as alledged without delivering anything. Several million should be plenty to develop a drone. Stuff isn't rocket science. Doesn't seem like they were promising anything that hasn't been done already. Pretty housing on the device can burn through some cash, but technologically this doesn't seem like a crazy big lift.
