First off....if the landing gear isn't coming down....just land the darn thing in the grass. The big mistake was that he went to grab the quad, instead of just letting the quad land. This was his mistake...his fault and no one to blame but himself. Now he's looking for attention from the press and the governments are all too happy to come in and try to drop these BS rules and regulations that punish those of us that are responsible and safe.
