I suggest getting him the full moto gear chest protection I think it's called a roost deflector pair of axo boots my roost deflector was a Thor aftershock had a fulmer motocross helmet and axo boots don't forget Scott goggles and maybe the spine protection pads also never be too safe is what I would get my kids to wear if my lady would let me get my kids a quad or bike to ride

Yeah I been looking around for some used gear, kids his age grow out of it real quick so there should be some around. :)

Well, Jacob finally talked me in to making a ramp for him.
He wanted it higher but until he can get that front wheel up a bit the answer is no. :)

I know, he only gets to ride every second weekend
He's a Travis Pastrana fan boy, we watched a few vids on the weekend and he said "How long before I can do that?". :)
