RC-Hangout

Its been a while, I know. I have lost my job assignment and I went to pooh mentally. I have been busy job searching, nothing yet. Feeling better mentally but I can't handle stress like I used to. For those who know about the V.A., I filed for my disability claim.

In my time off I have managed about 12 flights and still tuning the tail. Flies really well for not not digging into tuning. I can fly a box while tail in, both directions and tried clockwise tail in circles. I also managed to get bank switching setup on the dx6.

I also got more of my yard cleared out. That was a back breaker. I will post a few pics later.

You just take care of your family and yourself first. RC's and this forum are always second place in comparison to the home life.

I hope you get things sorted out and just get out and fly a bit when time allows.

Yes, stick in there Matthias. Life can give you a good ol kick in the gooliegongs sometimes but it sounds like your going in the right direction now.

Thanks guys its been rough to say the least. Today of all days started off being very terrible. Huge argument and I left for a couple hours to seek clarity. I found a common denominator and hopefully I have addressed it today.

Next week hopefully pans put in a job. Interview possibly next week.

Today is a good day but still feeling like crap mentally. I am not sure why but the good thing is I got 2 job offers and should know by the days end what I will get.

Things have been hectic this last 7 days. Prior to last week I managed to get almost 20 resumes out to employers, worked with three staffing agencies and had the reverse job fair. From all that I ended up with 5 interviews, two of which were with the same company for different shifts. Out of those 5 interviews I was offered three positions, 2 of which were at the same company. The two I did not get I was not trying to get after the interviews were done. Now that I have the offers I am going with the company that offered me both positions. One is a second shift (1500-2330) and the other is third shift (2300-0730).
